“We are born into this world with a purpose, a genetic and spiritual history and with an open heart, brain and body connection. We are in touch with our emotions and wants and needs and we are intuitively and energetically connected to all things.”
I felt compelled to write this book to share with you the skills and tools that I have learnt, experienced and developed over the years. I have worked with people from around the world from many cultural backgrounds and experiences, I have worked with people who live on the margins of life, those who experience crisis and homelessness and domestic violence and substance abuse; of loss and lack, of poverty and unemployment and those who live ordinary lives, who are stressed unhappy, or discontent or simply looking to create positive change.
The one thing that links all these people together is a disconnect within themselves, the bridge between the head and the heart and the physical body, has been cut off, people are searching for their unique HeartConnection.
This book is a mix of practical tools and thoughts and ideas that may challenge you to think differently about your world and how important you are in the scheme of things. It is about your sense of totality, your spiritual life, of stripping back the busy-ness, tapping into the heart of you, to remember the absolute magic that is your core, to experience the abundance, love and purpose that is why you are here and to build an extraordinary heart connected life.
We need HeartConnection now, right now, more than ever, if we as individuals and as a global community of connected souls are going to transition through what is happening on our planet and experience the magnificence that is us, all of us.
My hope is that the content of this book encourages you to begin to see, feel, and remember who you are, to stop ‘doing’ and start ‘being’ because it is through remembering ourselves and finding our own unique HeartConnection that we silently encourage those around us to be brave enough to do the same. And that is a magical thing.
“It is far more difficult to deny Who You Are
than to accept it.
You are goodness and mercy and compassion and understanding.
You are peace and joy and light.
You are forgiveness and patience, strength and courage, a helper in time of need,
a comforter in time of sorrow, a healer in time of injury a teacher in times of confusion.
You are the deepest wisdom and the highest truth; the greatest peace and the grandest love.
You are these things. And, in moments of your life you have known yourself as these things.
Choose now to know yourself as these things always.”
– ‘Conversations with God’ Neale Donald Walsch.
